$1500 for 1st place watermelon

 After several calls from growers across the Southeast, our Weigh-Off Coordinator, John Gunter, requested approval to raise the 1st place prize money for the 2022 watermelon. 

It has been a great year for some giant watermelons and those growers want to come to Allardt, Tennessee. 

Come on growers, we just matched the prize money with $1,500 for 1st place!!! Thanks to our awesome sponsors who have made this possible!
